About Avexxin
Avexxin's therapeutic approach is built on more than a decade of research into the biological mechanisms involved in inflammatory diseases at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Avexxin’s goal is to create a therapeutic company based on the discovery and development of novel therapeutics that address the fundamental mechanisms involved in inflammatory diseases.
Our company strategy is focused on the following:

Complete the initial clinical development of our lead compound. We are currently preparing phase I/IIa testing of our lead compound AKH-217 against psoriasis. |

Discover and develop novel therapeutics for the treatment of other inflammatory diseases, such as arthritis, inflammatory conditions in CNS and in the intestinal system. Our current drug discovery research program and our academic collaborations are focused on discovering and developing disease-modifying therapeutics for other inflammatory conditions. |

Develop partnerships with larger pharmaceutical or biotechnology firms that improve our ability to move new compounds through the late stage clinical trials and to bring our compounds into the marketplace. |
